FAQ

Bulk WhatsApp link generator questions

How does a bulk WhatsApp link generator work?

You paste a list of phone numbers, one per line or copied from an Excel/CSV column. The tool cleans each number (strips spaces, dashes, plus signs and brackets), adds the country code you pick to numbers that don't have one, and builds one wa.me click-to-chat link per number. Copy all the links, or download them as a CSV for your campaign spreadsheet.

Will these links send messages automatically?

No. A wa.me link only opens a chat with the number — the customer still taps and sends. No messages are sent automatically, which also means there is no spam risk and no ban risk. For real broadcast sending with delivery and read tracking you need the WhatsApp Business API, which The Tech Pad runs on Meta's official platform.

Can I pre-fill the same message for every number?

Yes — type the message once in the message box and every generated link opens WhatsApp with that text pre-filled. The person on the other end sends it with one tap. For personalisation per customer (names, order numbers), a broadcast platform fills those fields when it sends through the API.

What number formats can I paste?

Almost anything real-world: 9876543210, +91 98765 43210, (987) 654-3210, 91-98765-43210, or numbers copied straight from an Excel or Google Sheets column. Ten-digit numbers get the country code you select (India +91 by default); longer numbers are used as entered. Lines that contain no usable phone number are skipped and reported.

Is this really free and does it upload my customer list?

Yes — free forever with no account. Everything runs in your browser: your customer list is never sent to a server, stored or tracked. The links you copy are plain wa.me URLs you can paste into your own tools.
